If you’ve ever been to a Night Noodle Markets, chances are you’ve eaten something from Hoy Pinoy. The smoke from their stall carries wafts of charred and marinated meats that makes you instantly hungry. In Japan, Hokkaido is famous because the milk produced there has a rich fragrance and a mellow taste. Desserts made from the milk are an absolute delicacy. Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart carry on that tradition by producing incredible, melt-in-your-mouth desserts and the Popcorn Butterscotch is a personal favourite of the Night Noodle Markets at Home.
Kariton Sorbetes – Ube Halay-time
Oh yes. Grab a stick of this rich and creamy purple yam gelato that’s stuffed with purple yam fudge and blackberry jam, coated in a crisp white chocolate shell with purple yam cake crumb, freeze-dried blackberry and toasted coconut curds. This bad boy is inspired by the ice-cream carts that roam the streets of the Philippines.
You’re in damn good hands at Kariton Sorbetes – it was started by the former executive chef of fine diner Lume and the ex-head pastry chef of Maha. Together they are making ice cream magic with incredible flavours and uber-fun toppings.
