Festival of Food at The Streets of Barangaroo 2025
The Festival of Food returns to The Streets of Barangaroo for its second year this October.
Building on last year’s wildly successful launch – featuring sell-out chef collaborations such as Anason × Firepop × Brian Cole, Rekōdo × Levins and Mitch Orr, and the playful Part & Parcel yum-cha – the harbourside precinct is once again set to deliver a trio of immersive, chef-led dining experiences that celebrate culture and culinary craftsmanship, bringing premium food storytelling to Sydney’s waterfront.
Spanning across multiple dates across October, the Festival of Food is designed as a month-long reason to keep coming back to The Streets of Barangaroo.

Family recipes come to life at Gina in this nostalgic long-table Italian dinner led by Chef Gee De Venecia (Gina) in collaboration with Andreas Papadakis (Tipo 00), Daniela Maiorano (Chef and internet sensation) & Elizabeth Hewson (Author and Founder of Saturday Night Pasta).
Andreas Papadakis – widely regarded as Melbourne’s king of pasta and now making waves in Sydney – joins rising culinary voice Daniela Maiorano to reimagine dishes from their heritage. They’re joined by host Elizabeth Hewson, whose cult cookbook and movement Saturday Night Pasta has cemented her as one of Australia’s most beloved pasta storytellers.
Expect soulful food rooted in memory and recipes to take home – gentle reminders of the kitchens and memories that continue to shape Italian food culture.

For one day only, dessert icon Andy Bowdy (Kiln, ex‑Saga and Hartsyard), the visionary chef whose over-the-top sundaes and pastry creativity helped redefine Sydney’s dessert scene, takes over Yo‑Chi Barangaroo. His outrageous toppings and nostalgic sauces elevate frozen yoghurt worth lining up for.
Add a live DJ, block-party vibes and you’ve got the ultimate sugar-fuelled street party. Plus, this isn’t just any frozen yoghurt moment – it’s Yo‑Chi, the cult-favourite chain that has transformed froyo from casual snack to serious queue-worthy dessert status in Sydney.
